Instructions For Using Tune-Up Information

In column #1 you will find the model number of each radio, column #2 contains the modulation information, column #3 provides AM Power adjustments, and column #4 lists applicable SSB adjustments. With some SSB Models I have shown two adjustments. The first is for SSB modulation, and the second is for SSB Power (ALC).

(Some of the power adjustments listed are expandable type coils. These can be adjusted by either spreading the coils apart or by moving them closer together)

Some of the models listed include information for removing modulation limiters. I do NOT recommend this because doing so will almost always cause your radio to sound like you are trying to talk with a big mouth full of mush. This information is included only because many customers will insist on having it done, and if you don't do it they will take their radio elsewhere or, do it themselves.
